Operations and Sales Director

Coefficient RH is currently conducting a confidential recruitment process for a large, internationally renowned company specializing in innovative technological solutions. To pursue its growth within Canada, our client seeks an exceptional talent to fill the position of Operations and Sales Director. Primarily based in Trois-Rivières, this person will also oversee operations at the Montreal and Toronto facilities and supervise sales activities across the entire Canadian market.

Mission

  • Guide, motivate and structure production teams. 
  • Develop talent and foster their growth. 
  • Identify and address training needs. 
  • Ensure optimal recruitment. 
  • Implement effective and high-performance production. 
  • Establish efficient and effective management practices. 
  • Set operational procedures and policies. 
  • Maintain a safe working environment. 
  • Establish and manage operational budgets. 
  • Monitor production performance and costs. 

Exemplary Quality: 

  • Implement rigorous quality control systems. 
  • Manage non-compliance risks and ensure regulatory compliance. 
  • Integrate client specifications into the production process. 
  • Oversee regulatory audits and inspections. 
  • Closely collaborate with external suppliers to maintain quality standards. 

Proactive Logistics: 

  • Optimize material flow and effectively manage inventory. 
  • Establish standardized, cost-effective processes. 
  • Control and optimize logistics-related labor. 

Agile Technical Services: 

  • Ensure optimal equipment maintenance. 
  • Adapt technical processes to client specifications. 
  • Oversee effective implementation of new production projects. 
  • Ensure proper equipment preparation and installation prior to production launch. 

Requirements and Qualifications 

  • Relevant university degree (engineering or related field). 
  • Minimum of 5 years in team management. 
  • Management experience in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Mandatory bilingualism, given the international context. 
  • Solid technical knowledge of automated equipment. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office. 
  • Practical experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma. 
  • Knowledge of SAP (an asset). 

Working Conditions 

  • Highly competitive salary scale (over $100,000 depending on experience). 
  • Regular visits (once per month) to the Montreal and Toronto facilities required. 
  • Annual vacation weeks calculated based on experience. 
  • Group insurance premiums paid 50% by the employer. 
  • Voluntary Retirement Savings Plan (VRSP) after the first year. 
  • Travel and accommodation expenses covered by the employer. 

Start date: Spring 2025
